Haley on DeSantis skipping New Hampshire for South Carolina: "We don't have to jump states"
Nikki Haley responded to DeSantis's travel to South Carolina before heading to New Hampshire by stating that she doesn't need to "jump states."
Nikki Haley stated that she does not need to "jump on a state" when responding to the news that her presidential rival, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, was heading to her home state prior to the New Hampshire primaries.
""We're going to play each state one at a time. We played hard in Iowa and are currently playing hard in New Hampshire. We're going to continue playing hard in South Carolina. We're not stopping, and we're going to fight for every vote in each state," Haley stated in an interview with Planet Chronicle Digital."

The former South Carolina governor, who later served as the US ambassador to the UN, believes it's a mistake for DeSantis to visit her home state.
"Haley stated that she believes it is a mistake to disregard New Hampshire in that manner. However, she welcomed him to South Carolina if he chooses to come."
After DeSantis' campaign announced a rally in Greenville, South Carolina, Haley made critical comments about the Florida Governor.
DeSantis announced that he would visit New Hampshire later in the day, which is the first primary and second overall contest in the GOP nominating calendar on January 23, eight days after the Iowa caucuses.
Typically, after the Iowa caucuses on Monday, Republican candidates begin campaigning in New Hampshire.
Another important early voting state, South Carolina, will host the first southern Republican primary on February 24th.
On Saturday evening, the last Des Moines Register/Mediacom/NBC News survey of probable Republican caucus attendees was made public.
In the poll, Haley has 20% support, DeSantis has 16%, and Trump stands at 48%.
Vivek Ramaswamy, a multimillionaire biotech entrepreneur and first-time candidate, has 8% support in the poll after campaigning across Iowa for months.
Ann Selzer, a longtime pollster, is known for her accurate surveys in past GOP presidential caucuses and is highly regarded as the gold standard in Iowa polling.
