GOP congressman-elect criticizes Democrats for causing 'destruction' in their cities.
Arizona's 8th Congressional District will be represented by Hamadeh in Washington.
During a post-election victory interview with Planet Chronicle Digital, Abe Hamadeh, the newly elected GOP congressman-elect, disclosed what went well for Republicans and what went wrong for Democrats in Tuesday's election.
Hamadeh, who was elected in the recent election, told Planet Chronicle Digital that the left hates him so much because they always call him a white supremacist, even though he is the son of Syrian immigrants and has a family that is diverse in terms of ethnicity and nationality.
"Because they can't accept their policies' failure, they don't know how to implement them successfully. They have failed in cities like California, San Francisco, Chicago, and New York City. You can't name a successful Democrat-run city because they bring destruction, misery, and chaos. They're trying to transform our country into something it's not, something that resembles Venezuela, and we won't go to socialism or communism."
Despite Trump's historic gains with several minority groups, Democrats and media pundits have consistently attributed his victory to racism and sexism.
Despite the media narrative portraying racism, Trump managed to attract more minority votes than other Republican candidates, as Hamadeh noted.
"In Michigan, President Trump captured the highest number of minorities, including Arab-Americans. The capture of Jewish Americans, Black Americans, and Hispanic voters was truly remarkable and historical."
"In Arizona, the votes are still being counted, but I believe President Trump's lead will only increase. This victory is a testament to the great American comeback. Additionally, my race is closely tied to this outcome because I did not want to go to Washington, D.C. with Kamala Harris. I am proud that President Trump was able to secure this historic victory, which I hope will result in a united Republican government and the passage of an America First agenda that benefits all Americans."
Hamadeh stated to Planet Chronicle Digital that he was confident in his victory in his district on Tuesday, as well as Trump's success, because they addressed the concerns of Arizona voters.
"Joe Biden and Kamala Harris were not well-liked, and the open border and inflation crisis were major concerns. Despite this, I believed we would win and it was a significant victory for President Trump, who won the popular vote and Electoral College, bringing together various Republican factions."
In Arizona, voter turnout was mainly influenced by immigration and the economy, according to Hamadeh.
Hamadeh believes that the combination of chaos and open borders is the reason for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris's failure to secure the American border, despite their repeated promises to do so.
"President Trump had a secure border, but Kamala and Joe Biden destroyed it quickly. This makes people realize the importance of having a president who wants to secure the border."
Hamadeh stated that Arizona voters could determine inflation by examining their grocery bills.
"Arizona is facing a severe inflation crisis, and Hamadeh believes that the combination of the economy and the border is responsible for the high prices at the grocery store."
"If Elon Musk and many others who voted for Joe Biden in 2020 had come around to President Trump, I believe they would have understood that the weaponization of the rule of law and attacking the First Amendment and our Constitution were a threat to our very foundation as a republic. As a result, I think people would have recognized the need to return to common sense and restore the America we love."
