GOP aims to win 1st US Senate race in Michigan since 1994, according to poll, with Dem Slotkin leading.
Mike Rogers was previously criticized by Sen. Rand Paul for being endorsed by former President Donald Trump as the "worst Deep State candidate this cycle."
EPIC-MRA conducted a poll that shows Slotkin leading Rogers 47%-42%, with a margin of error of plus or minus four percentage points. The poll was based on 600 randomly selected voters from around Michigan.
In March, when former President Donald Trump endorsed Rogers for the U.S. Senate seat, Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., criticized Rogers harshly.

Perhaps he should choose Liz Cheney as his vice president if he is capable of working with Mike Rogers (R-Deep State), as suggested by Paul in another post.
Rogers won the primary contest despite Paul's support for Amash before the election.
In 2020, Sen. Debbie Stabenow, a Democrat who has been in the Senate since 2001, declared that she would not seek re-election.
Michigan's other senator, Gary Peters, is also a Democrat.
Since the term of Spencer Abraham ended in early 2001, there has not been a Republican U.S. senator from Michigan.
