Experts say Trump's policy-oriented inaugural address was a playbook.
A new chapter for America has commenced with the official start of the new president.
Experts said that President Donald Trump's second inaugural address was a message of hope and unity, focusing on policy.
The Heritage Foundation's president, Kevin Roberts, deemed Trump's speech "substantive" in terms of outlining the president's agenda for the next four years.
"Roberts stated that Trump's speech was policy-focused from start to finish, which he believes will be a notable feature of the speech. He added that Americans will remember Trump's articulation of a plan."
Trump declared the start of America's golden age during his inaugural address on Capitol Hill Monday.
"From this day onwards, our country will prosper and regain its global standing. We will become the admiration of all nations, and we will no longer tolerate being mistreated. Every day of the Trump administration, I will prioritize America's interests above all else."
Trump criticized the "vicious, violent, and unfair weaponization of the Justice Department" by the Biden-Harris administration, specifically mentioning their handling of foreign and domestic issues, as well as the North Carolina hurricane disasters and the recent wildfires in Southern California.
Trump stated that our government has received unlimited funding for defending foreign borders but has refused to protect American borders or its own citizens.
According to Roberts, Trump's policy-specific speech was crucial because of the policy failures of the Biden-Harris administration. Heritage has observed that Trump's base and many independent voters who supported him in the recent election were seeking a policy plan, which Trump articulated.
"On Monday, Jessica Anderson, president of the conservative super PAC Sentinel Action Fund, told Planet Chronicle Digital that President Trump has commenced a new phase for America with a speech emphasizing hope, unity, and prosperity."
Trump's address marked a turning point in the White House, as noted by both Roberts and Anderson.
Anderson stated that President Trump has no intention of wasting time and has already prepared numerous executive orders on various topics, including border security and gender definition.
"Roberts stated that his criticism of his political opponents was not excessive. However, it was clear that the sheriff had returned and intended to reclaim the country."
Trump's speech highlighted his top priority of making America "a proud, prosperous, and free nation," in line with the New Frontier theme.
"We are one people, one family, and one glorious nation under God," Trump declared. "As every parent dreams for their child and every child dreams for their future, I stand with you. I will fight for you and I will win for you. We will triumph like never before."
According to Roberts, Trump's statement about the importance of American innovation as a part of his legacy is likely to be overlooked.
"To put it differently, restoring America's greatness involves revitalizing its manufacturing and economic sectors to a level of innovation that is so impressive, it's hard to comprehend the magnitude of it."
Trump's speech, which invoked the "real spirit of America," signaled his intention to revive American manufacturing and economic vitality during his second term, a theme that both Ronald Reagan and John F. Kennedy had incorporated into their inaugural addresses, according to Roberts.
