Every president typically hires loyalists like Pam Bondi.

Biden loyalists Steve Richetti, Ron Klain, and Tom Donilon have rarely been dismissed.

Every president typically hires loyalists like Pam Bondi.

It’s spat out like a dirty word.

Donald Trump – take a deep breath – is hiring loyalists.

The president-elect is nominating individuals who he believes will back him. Despite his use of profanity, the media has not reported anything more contemptuous than his loyalists.

Now stop and think: Doesn’t every president hire loyalists?

Did Joe Biden surround himself with individuals who had been with him for decades? Ron Klain, Steve Richetti, and Tom Donilon formed a protective bubble around the president. However, few, if any, prognosticators dismissed them as loyalists.

The only pick who received high praise for their TV skills was Pete Buttigieg, the former presidential candidate and current Transportation secretary.

Both George Washington and Abraham Lincoln employed a team-of-rivals approach in their cabinets, appointing Thomas Jefferson and Alexander Hamilton, respectively, as secretary of state and treasury secretary. Similarly, Lincoln named Salmon Chase as treasury secretary and William Seward as secretary of war.

If Trump appoints individuals he believes will back him, the media's immediate response is that they pose a threat to the nation and will disregard the rule of law.

Trump's first term saw little use of his Cabinet, and I predict the same for his second term, with only a few key positions filled. However, he maintains ultimate control and can dismiss any Cabinet member who deviates from his agenda, similar to how contestants are eliminated on "The Apprentice." As always, Cabinet members serve at the president's pleasure.

Trump's first wave of Cabinet members, including Marco Rubio as secretary of state and current and former members of Congress, are generally impressive.

The recent controversy surrounding Matt Gaetz's Cameo videos, as well as the nomination of Pete Hegseth, RFK Jr., Tulsi Gabbard, and Dr. Oz, has led to animosity towards pro-union Rep. Lori Chavez-DeRemer as labor secretary.

It's evident that the president-elect is drawn to individuals he has encountered on television, and he frequently tunes in to Planet Chronicle.

Jen Psaki and Symone Sanders-Townsend were both CNN contributors before joining the Biden campaign and holding top jobs in the White House. Now, they are hosting or co-hosting shows on MSNBC. Despite being viewed as "good guys," their switch to the "right team" has raised some eyebrows.

Hegseth, Duffy, and two frequent medical commentators have been picked by Trump from Fox.

The media has turned on Pam Bondi, a former Florida attorney general and career prosecutor, despite Gaetz lacking the experience she possesses.

Bondi has made numerous partisan statements, including "prosecuting the prosecutors," followed by "the bad ones." She was a member of Trump's first impeachment legal team and later served as the legal arm of a pro-Trump PAC.

During the first Trump term, Bondi was not chosen for a position because she received a $25,000 campaign donation from Trump's foundation while her office was investigating Trump University, which was also under investigation.

In 2013, Trump's foundation gave Bondi's office a $25,000 campaign donation while her office was investigating Trump University for fraud.

According to MSNBC legal analyst Barbara McQuade, her acceptance of the donation from Trump University coincided with her decision not to bring fraud charges against him. Despite the lack of evidence of a quid pro quo, a Florida ethics panel cleared her of any wrongdoing. However, this information is now old news.

""Even joking about imprisoning a political adversary is a disrespect to the legal system," McQuade remarks."

Eric Holder, Barack Obama's former Attorney General, referred to himself as Obama's "wingman." It seems that there is a different standard for Democrats.

Rachel Maddow producer Steve Benen claims that Bondi falsely accused then-special counsel Robert Mueller of leading a "corrupt" investigation that was "worse than Watergate."

Although Dave Aronberg lost his race to challenge Bondi as AG, she still hired him as drug czar. Bondi is someone who believes in the rule of law and is not going to burn it all down like Matt Gaetz 2.0.

The question of trust is at the heart of the issue. The pro-Kamala media are reluctant to give Trump nominees the benefit of the doubt. Bondi has criticized the weaponization of the DOJ. She can be considered a loyalist.

The ultimate test will be when she becomes the new attorney general.
