Elon Musk to deliver a speech at Trump's pre-inauguration event, according to sources.
Musk has spoken at other President-elect Trump gatherings, including a rally at Madison Square Garden.
According to a new report, Elon Musk, CEO of both Tesla and SpaceX, is scheduled to give a speech at President-elect Donald Trump's pre-inauguration rally on Sunday.
According to NBC News, Musk will give remarks at Trump's "Make America Great Again Victory Rally" at the Capitol One Arena in Washington, D.C., where he will lead the newly created Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) once Trump takes office.
The event agenda also features Vice President-elect JD Vance, conservative media personality Megyn Kelly, and members of Trump's immediate family.
Planet Chronicle Digital did not receive an immediate response from the Trump transition team when requested a comment.
Musk, who contributed millions to Trump's presidential campaign, has maintained a close relationship with the president and has spoken at official events with him. For instance, Musk gave a speech at a Trump campaign rally in October at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Vivek Ramaswamy and Musk are leading efforts to reduce government spending under DOGE, and Musk is also expected to impact the incoming administration.
The organization DOGE, unlike a federal government agency, strives to reduce government expenditure, minimize waste, and enhance efficiency and operations.
The government aims to reduce its budget by $2 trillion through cost-cutting measures, including reducing spending, government programs, and the federal workforce.
Musk stated that reducing the federal budget by $2 trillion might be unrealistic and suggested cutting $1 trillion as a more achievable goal.
"During the CES tech trade show in Las Vegas this month, Musk stated that he believes the best-case outcome is to aim for $2 trillion. However, he also mentioned that there should be some overage, and if they strive for $2 trillion, they have a better chance of achieving $1 trillion."
