Trump announces Lohmeier's mission to abolish military's 'devastating woke policies'
The next United States Undersecretary of the Air Force will be a former fighter pilot, as announced by President-elect Donald Trump on Friday night.
In July, Lt. Col. Matthew Lohmeier, a former U.S. Space Force commander, appeared on Planet Chronicle to discuss military readiness. He had previously claimed he was fired for criticizing the "Marxist" DEI complex.
Lohmeier, a U.S. Air Force Academy graduate, served in the military for over a decade before joining the Space Force in 2020, where he focused on missile warning systems.
He lost his job and pension within a year of appearing on The Steve Gruber Show.
In the nomination announcement, Lohmeier was praised by Trump for dedicating his life to serving the United States.
""Congratulations Matthew on working with Pete Hegseth to end the destructive "woke" policies and make our country strong again," Trump wrote on Truth Social."
