A prominent detransitioner and public speaker highlighted the significance of the transgender case heard by the Supreme Court this week, stating that it could alter the entire landscape of gender ideology in the US.

The case of U.S. v. Skrmetti centers on a Tennessee law prohibiting sex-change treatments and surgeries for minors. Experts predict that the Supreme Court's ruling in this case may establish a precedent that will influence laws regarding transgender treatments for children nationwide.

Chloe Cole, speaking to Planet Chronicle Digital outside the Supreme Court building, emphasized the importance of the law passing so that other states with protective laws can uphold them in court and pressure states on the fence, such as blue or purple states, to enact similar laws to protect children in their areas.

""My generation is facing an identity crisis, with children losing their health, ability to grow up, and ability to have children as adults. This is unconscionable," she stated."

Cole, a 20-year-old who began transitioning from female to male at 12 and stopped at 17, stated that she still experiences daily pain and faces severe health problems due to the long-term effects of the sex-change treatments and surgery she received as a child.

"I've undergone puberty blockers, testosterone injections, and a double mastectomy, all of which have permanently and irreversibly impacted my health," she stated.

"Cole shared that he underwent an artificial menopause at a young age, which caused him to experience hot flashes and other uncomfortable, painful symptoms similar to what women naturally experience in their 40s, 50s, and 60s, but not before they are teenagers."

While some activists and attorneys argue that sex-change treatments can improve the mental health of children with gender confusion and prevent suicide, many former transgender individuals, known as "detransitioners," dispute this claim. They assert that these treatments not only cause physical problems but also lead to serious psychological damage.

Cole stated that in addition to living with the reality of having her breasts removed at 15, testosterone has also caused permanent changes to her bone structure.

"Although I have facial hair growth and a left-over Adam's apple, I also experience urinary tract issues, including pelvic pain and sexual dysfunction, which has been both physically and psychologically painful for me as an adult woman," she stated.

"She stated, "I am a woman with the aspiration to become a mother and get married one day. This decision will certainly impact my marriage, romantic relationships, and my ability to have children.""

Despite the promotion of gender transition treatment by doctors and hospitals nationwide, Cole emphasized that there remain unresolved concerns about the long-term consequences of these treatments.

""I'm still experiencing reeling effects from all of this years after the fact, and I could have just grown up into a healthy young woman with a body intact," she said."

Despite still experiencing the aftermath of the treatments, Cole remains determined to prevent other children from going through what she endured.

""Children should be allowed to grow up with their bodies intact and learn to love themselves as they were born, without any interference or manipulation," she concluded."
