Despite efforts to remove Trump as a threat to democracy, the White House maintains its stance.
The Biden-Harris administration's "rhetoric" has been accused of contributing to the latest assassination attempt on former President Trump.
Despite two attempted assassinations on his life, former President Trump remains a "threat" to democracy, according to White House officials.
In a press briefing on Tuesday, Peter Doocy, Planet Chronicle' senior White House correspondent, queried Karine Jean-Pierre, the White House press secretary, about the use of the term "threat" in reference to former President Trump.
Doocy inquired: "How many more assassination attempts on Trump until the president, vice president, and you choose a different word to describe Trump other than 'threat'?"
Doocy informed Jean-Pierre that he disagreed with the premise of his question, stating that the way he posed it was "incredibly dangerous" since Americans were observing.
She also adopted a defensive stance, arguing that the Biden administration has consistently denounced political violence.
Jean-Pierre explained that President Biden called Trump to express gratitude after Thomas Matthew Crooks grazed his ear with a bullet during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
She defended the Biden administration for condemning Trump's role in the January 6, 2021, riot at the Capitol, criticizing the attack on Rep. Nancy Pelosi's husband, and urging a decrease in political rhetoric following the assassination attempt on Trump in Butler.
"The former president's statement that the election was not the result of the election is a fact that has been reported by all of you. This is a fact. When a former president claims that the election was not fair, it is a fact that more than 60 Republican judges have said otherwise. Additionally, more than 2,000 people were instructed to go to the Capitol, making it one of the darkest days in our democracy."
She emphasized the significance of having disagreements on economic, health care, and foreign policy policies.
But the political rhetoric, she said, was not OK.
"You're right, there are individuals who may miss the part where you say, 'Let's lower the temperature,' and... there are unstable individuals who are trying to assassinate political candidates, including Donald Trump. Despite this, the White House continues to label him as a threat. Do you think people are taking that literally?"
Jean-Pierre replied by stating that he and others are utilizing examples to support their claims, similar to the events of Jan. 6.
The White House has repeatedly condemned political violence, as evidenced by the events that occurred on Jan. 6.
The White House's raising of political violence rhetoric is being closely monitored by the public, as Jean-Pierre explained.
Jean-Pierre stated that the reason behind Biden's decision to run for president in 2020 was due to the administration's condemnation of political rhetoric and violence.
Trump stated on Monday that the "rhetoric" of Biden and Vice President Harris is causing him to be "shot at," as he has experienced two attempts since July. Trump also told Planet Chronicle Digital that the suspected gunman acted on the "highly inflammatory language" of Democrats.
On Monday, Trump had an interview with Planet Chronicle Digital, one day after he was abruptly removed from the golf course at Trump International in West Palm Beach, Florida, due to the discovery of a gunman in the surrounding foliage.
Ryan Wesley Routh, the suspected gunman, was armed with an AK-47-style rifle and had a GoPro camera and two backpacks. He fled the scene but was later pulled over and arrested on Interstate 95 in Martin County.
Authorities are treating the episode as an apparent assassination attempt against Trump.
"Trump stated that he acted on the rhetoric of Biden and Harris, despite their words causing him to be targeted with violence, as he is the one who will save the country while they are the ones destroying it from within and without."
Biden and Harris were labeled as "threats to democracy" by Trump, despite his claims that they are leaders promoting "unity."
"Trump stated, "They are the opposite. These are individuals who wish to destroy our nation.""
The real threat are those referred to as the enemy from within.
