Dems who rejected deporting sex offenders face Musk's renewed call to vote them out.
X posted that there is no excuse.
Elon Musk, a tech billionaire and Trump ally, renewed criticism of the more than 150 House Democrats who voted against deporting illegal immigrants convicted of sex offenses, calling for each of the lawmakers to be voted out of office.
"Please provide a list of individuals who opposed this law and wish to keep convicted sex offenders in America," Musk wrote on his X account on Saturday, stating that there is no excuse for not complying with the law.
"Each of them must be removed from office through voting."
In September, the Violence Against Women by Illegal Aliens Act passed the House, with 215 Republicans and 51 Democrats voting in favor, while 158 Democrats voted against it.
In September, the Democrats who opposed the bill were subjected to scrutiny, and now, as President-elect Donald Trump prepares to take office, they are facing renewed criticism on social media due to the resurrection of their vote.
The bill aimed to keep rapists, pedophiles, domestic abusers, and stalkers out of the U.S. However, opponents argued that it demonized immigrants. But, how does protecting convicted predators benefit anyone, particularly their victims? This topic was discussed on X show host Mario Nawfal's account on Saturday, prompting Elon Musk to respond.
"Keeping violent offenders in the country isn't safe, it's fearmongering. Why would anyone vote to keep criminals who prey on women and children?" Nawfal added.
The proposed legislation would deport illegal immigrants convicted of sex crimes and deem those who admit to domestic violence or sex-related charges, or are convicted of them, inadmissible in the U.S. The bill is currently with the Senate and has been referred to the judiciary committee.
Notable Democrats who opposed the legislation were Rep. Jerry Nadler, D-N.Y., former California Rep. Adam Schiff, who is now in the Senate, and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
After pledging in December to finance moderate Democrat politicians in heavily blue districts, Musk's recent call for the Democrats to be voted out of Congress stems from his dissatisfaction with their representation of the country.
Vivek Ramaswamy and Elon Musk will lead a presidential advisory committee, the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), aimed at reducing government spending and shrinking the government under Trump's second administration.

In September, conservatives closely examined the Democrats who opposed the legislation.
In September, South Carolina Republican Nancy Mace, the legislation's introducer, stated on Fox Digital that voting against it makes you sexist towards women.
"Because we're discussing illegal immigrants who are committing domestic violence, rape, and murder on women and children, they must be deported. They should not be permitted to enter our country."
"158 Democrats voted AGAINST deporting migrants for s*x offenses, which is a slap in the face to every victim and their family members. Democrats hate you and your children," Libs of TikTok posted.
Those Democrats who opposed the bill portrayed it as discriminatory and an instance of "scaremongering" towards immigrants.
During the debate on the bill, Congressional Progressive Caucus Chair Pramila Jayapal, D-Wash., stated that the group is once again discussing a partisan bill that uses fear-mongering to talk about immigrants, rather than working together to repair the immigration system.
"Republicans have a history of scapegoating immigrants and using domestic violence as a weapon, which shouldn't surprise me."
Planet Chronicle Digital's Elizabeth Elkind contributed to this report.
