Reuters reported that Harris will make appearances next week in key battleground states with her choice of vice president, signaling that she is close to making her decision.
Some of the possible candidates for the 2022 presidential election are reportedly Arizona Sen. Mark Kelly, Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro, Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear, and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz.
After President Biden dropped out of the race, Harris became the top Democrat a week ago under immense pressure from his party.
