Biden is told by the Israeli leader that the hostages must be returned, as they are currently enduring unimaginable suffering in the Gaza dungeons.
Biden's "major objective" is to prevent Iran from fulfilling their "evil intentions," according to Isaac Herzog.
One of Israel's leaders informed President Biden during a White House visit that the hostages being held in Gaza's dungeons are going through "hell" and "have to be returned."
Israeli President Isaac Herzog informed Biden that he is working diligently to ensure the war ends and that both Israelis and Lebanese people have security, while 101 hostages have been held in the Gaza Strip for over 400 days.
"Mr. President, I understand that you are constantly working towards the safe return of the hostages who are enduring unimaginable suffering in the Gaza dungeons. Your focus is not only on their immediate release but also on the hope for a peaceful future in the region. However, before we can move forward, we must prioritize the immediate return of the hostages."
"I agree," Biden responded.
The origin of it all is in Tehran," Herzog stated. "In the empire of evil, Tehran serves as a base for its proxies to undermine stability, security, and peace. Their ultimate goal is the annihilation of Israel and the acquisition of nuclear weapons. As President, it is crucial to make this a top priority for your term and the next president's term to prevent them from fulfilling their malevolent intentions.
"Mr. President, I am aware of your emphasis on combating antisemitism and I want to inform you that they are also a significant contributor to this issue."
During the meeting, Biden assured Herzog of his unwavering dedication to Israel.
Biden was praised by Herzog for being an exceptional friend to Israel and the Jewish people for many years. He will always be remembered for his unwavering support during Israel's darkest hour, which ultimately led to its greatest triumph. Biden visited Israel just a few days after the horrific attack on October 7.
"Your support for us with words and deeds, Mr. President, is greatly appreciated. We want to express our heartfelt thanks to you for standing up with the Jewish people and Israel, as you always did."
