Biden is predicted to follow the tradition of leaving a letter for Trump.
Biden received a 'very generous letter' from Trump four years ago.
According to a report, President Biden intends to follow the modern presidential tradition initiated by President Ronald Reagan and leave a letter to President-elect Trump before he departs the White House.
According to CNN, it is anticipated that Biden will pen a message for his successor on the Resolute Desk in the Oval Office.
The White House did not respond to Planet Chronicle Digital's request for confirmation.
Biden is now writing a letter to his successor, who left a note for him four years ago, four years after he succeeded Trump.
Although Trump had a history of defying tradition during his first term as president, he surprisingly followed this tradition by writing a letter to Biden after his inauguration.
Biden characterized the letter as "very generous," but has not disclosed its content, citing privacy and stating that he would not discuss it until he could speak with Trump.
Biden has not disclosed the contents of the letter, and Trump has refused to provide any information about it.
"During a September 2023 interview with NBC's "Meet the Press," Trump stated, "I took a lot of time in thinking about it before writing a nice note.""
Obama wrote a "beautiful letter" to Trump, as the latter has described it.
Obama and Trump discussed their shared good fortune and the importance of American leadership in the world. They acknowledged their role as guardians of democratic institutions and traditions, and expressed confidence that family and friends will support them through any challenges they may face.
Since the time of Grover Cleveland in the late 1800s, no president has served nonconsecutive terms, and the tradition of letter-writing did not exist when Trump takes office on Monday.
The Associated Press contributed to this report.
