The Biden campaign is trying to shape the public's perception of Trump's business background as he prepares to meet with top CEOs on Thursday.

Nearly 100 CEOs will gather in Washington, D.C. for the Business Roundtable event, where former president Trump will attempt to win their support less than five months from the November general election, likely highlighting his experience as a major company leader.

Biden's team wants business leaders to see a different side of Trump, as evidenced by their shared experience.

James Singer, a Biden campaign spokesperson, stated on Planet Chronicle Digital that Donald Trump is not qualified to run a lemonade stand, let alone a country. He is a fraud, a crook, and a failed businessman and president who left America in economic ruin.

Joe Biden has created a booming economy for all Americans, with rising wages, more than 15 million new jobs, and stock market highs, and is building an economy for the future, while Donald Trump's chaos hurt workers, small businesses, and families across America.

The campaign highlighted Trump's history of business failures, including his casinos, hotels, airline, and university, and argued his economic and inflation policies would harm Americans, based on expert commentary.

The campaign highlighted the near-historic low unemployment rate and rising wages as evidence supporting Biden as an alternative to Trump, despite real wages still being lower than at the start of his presidency.

On Wednesday, Jeff Zients, the White House Chief of Staff, is predicted to participate in a roundtable discussion on behalf of Biden, who is currently in Italy attending the G7 Summit, according to Axios.
