Biden administration strengthens Russia, China, and Iran, making America safer before Trump departure.
Jake Sullivan, the National Security Advisor, asserts that the US is currently in a more advantageous and safer condition compared to four years ago.
In an interview on Sunday, National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan stated that the United States is "safer" after four years under President Biden's leadership, as Russia, China, and Iran are "weaker."
"According to Sullivan, our alliances are stronger than they were four years ago, with NATO being more powerful, purposeful, and bigger than ever before. Additionally, our alliances in the Asia Pacific are at all-time highs. Our adversaries and competitors are weaker across the board, with Russia, Iran, and China all being weaker. Despite this, America has managed to keep itself out of wars."
"According to Sullivan, the American people are safer and the country is better off than four years ago, and we are passing on this advantage to the next team. Additionally, our economy, technology, defense industrial base, and supply chains are all stronger, while our competitors and adversaries are weaker and under pressure."
The botched 2021 Afghanistan withdrawal, Russia's 2022 invasion of Ukraine, and the Oct. 7, 2023, terrorist attacks on Israel have tarnished Biden's presidency, as the Pentagon keeps a watchful eye on the growing threat of Islamic extremism worldwide.
Trump's 2024 presidential campaign promises justice for the families of the 13 U.S. service members killed at Abbey Gate and peace through strength on the global stage.
Sullivan defended Biden's handling of the withdrawal on Sunday.
According to Sullivan, if we were still in Afghanistan today, Americans would be fighting and dying, Russia would have more leverage over us, and we would be less able to respond to the major strategic challenges we face.
"Despite ongoing investigation, no link has been found between Afghanistan and the New Orleans attacker, according to the official. The FBI will continue to search for foreign connections, but what has been seen suggests that the terrorist threat has become more spread out and active in other locations, including domestic extremists in the US. This shift in focus from a hot war in Afghanistan to a broader counterterrorism effort has been ongoing since President Biden's first term, and was also a priority under President Trump."

Last week, at a press conference from his estate in Palm Beach, Florida, Trump threatened Hamas terrorists that "all hell will break out" in the Middle East if the remaining hostages aren't released before he is inaugurated on January 20.
Sullivan stated that the negotiations are very close, yet still far because until they are completed, they are not yet across the finish line.
President Biden's top Middle East adviser, Brett McGuirk, has been in Doja for a week, working with mediators to finalize a text to be presented to both sides. Sullivan emphasized that they are still committed to using every day they have in office to achieve this goal.
Steve Witcoff, Trump's Special Envoy to the Middle East, stated that he has observed progress in the hostage negotiations, but a deal must be reached by Inauguration Day. If the hostages are not returned by the time Trump takes office, he warned that all hell will break out in the Middle East, which would not be good for Hamas or anyone else.
