Nadia Marcinkova, Jeffrey Epstein's alleged accomplice and former employee, invoked her Fifth Amendment rights 42 times during a 2010 deposition, including when asked about being on an airplane with the deceased financier and former President Bill Clinton, according to court documents released Friday.
On April 13, 2010, during an inquiry, Marcinkova was questioned about her knowledge of Clinton or Doug Band, who had been Clinton's right-hand man for years following his departure from the White House.
"Fifth," she simply stated, according to the court documents.
Did you observe any inappropriate sexual behavior between Jeffrey Epstein and minors in the presence of Bill Clinton?
"Fifth," she once again replied.
During questioning, Marcinkova refused to answer questions about Jean Luc Brunel, Glenn Dubin, Alan Dershowitz, and other individuals mentioned.
Dershowitz and Clinton have consistently maintained their innocence and lack of knowledge regarding Epstein's sexual offenses.
Did Marcinkova know that Epstein used to take "place to place" flights for sexual activities with minors?
According to court documents, Virginia Giuffre, Epstein's accuser, claims that Marcinkova and former employee Sarah Kellen were instrumental in the trafficking of underage girls by Ghislaine Maxwell.
During her March 24, 2010 deposition, Kellen frequently invoked her Fifth Amendment rights, including when she was questioned about seeing Dershowitz at Epstein's home or the nature of Epstein's relationship with magician David Copperfield.
An alternative version of the sentence could be: On Friday, another document was released that contained an email from Epstein to "G Maxwell," directing the recipient to urge the media to investigate whether Clinton had ever been there and to challenge the press.
