As the January 20th inauguration nears, Trump announces his latest White House staff selections.
In less than 3 weeks, the President-elect will assume office.
On Saturday night, President-elect Trump made his latest staff selections, naming four individuals to serve in the White House in various roles.
In less than three weeks, Trump will begin his presidency by appointing Stanley E. Woodward, Jr. as an assistant and senior counselor.
Trump stated that Woodward co-founded a law firm called Brand Woodward Law, LP, where he represented high-profile clients in complex, high-stakes litigation, including federal jury trials.
He worked at a multinational law firm, where he represented multiple international corporations in defense of alleged violations of the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and served as coordinating counsel to companies involved in nationwide federal litigation.
Trump announced that Robert Gabriel, Jr., will serve as an assistant to the president in the area of policy.
"Since the beginning of President Donald J. Trump's 2015 campaign, Mr. Gabriel has been serving him in various roles, starting as a Policy Advisor at Trump Tower."
"As Special Assistant to the President, Mr. Gabriel worked in the West Wing throughout the entire first Trump Administration."
The president-elect has appointed Nicholas F. Luna as assistant to the president and deputy chief of staff for strategic implementation. In this role, he will be responsible for scheduling and managing external White House communications.
Luna was described by Trump as a "highly respected White House veteran and a Trump-Vance campaign warrior."
"He previously held various positions in the White House, including Presidential Trip Director, Personal Aide to the President, Assistant to the President, and Director of Oval Office Operations. Most recently, he served as Director of Operations for Vice President-elect JD Vance with great distinction."
Trump announced that William "Beau" Harrison will be an assistant to the president and deputy chief of staff for operations, describing him as a "trusted aide to the President and First Family."
"During his first term, Mr. Harrison served as the liaison between the operational elements of the Executive Office of the President and was responsible for coordinating and executing all presidential travel, including numerous complex international visits. He has participated in and led multiple U.S. delegations across the globe in countries such as North Korea, Iraq, and Afghanistan, and played a critical role in planning each of the historic summits with DPRK Leader Kim Jong-Un."
