Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has launched a website to crowdsource names to fill 4,000 political appointee positions in President-elect Trump's new administration. The online forum, called "Nominees for the People," is powered by Kennedy's initiative to "Make America Healthy Again" (MAHA) and prompts visitors to nominate and vote for candidates to fill positions under various categories.
The Trump Administration is seeking nominations for individuals of integrity and courage for over 4,000 appointments, as stated on the site's welcome page.

Brandon Herrera, a Second Amendment activist and YouTuber, and Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton are among the top contenders for "Peace at Home."
The category page states that we require nominees who will safeguard our borders, shield children and adults from human trafficking, expel migrant offenders, and bolster our homeland's vital infrastructure and technologies.
Elon Musk, the founder of Tesla and Space X, received over 4,900 votes in the "Government Efficiency" category after taking over Twitter.
Trump has suggested a possible new cabinet position for Musk as "Secretary of Cost Reduction," while Musk has advocated for the establishment of a "Department of Government Efficiency." Additionally, there is speculation about Trump appointing Musk as an artificial intelligence advisor.
The website has received thousands of votes for Mike Rowe, Bernie Sanders, and Pete Buttigieg, with Buttigieg receiving the highest number of votes under the "Energy and Infrastructure" category.
Reinette Senum, a former mayor of Nevada City, California, was among the candidates considered for environmental and natural resource-related positions.

The Trump transition team has not made any promises to the website that the online nominees will be part of the administration.
Kennedy initially ran as a Democrat, later switched to run as an independent, but eventually abandoned his campaign. He later endorsed Trump with the goal of influencing health policy in a future administration.
On Saturday, he proposed that the Trump administration could replace up to 600 staff members at the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
Kennedy stated at the Genius Network Annual Event in Scottsdale, Arizona that we must act quickly and have those individuals in place by January 20th, so that on January 21st, 600 people will enter NIH offices and 600 people will exit.
Kennedy has discussed controlling the U.S. Department of Agriculture or gaining the ability to restructure federal health agencies in recent weeks.
Trump, upon taking office, would investigate the safety of vaccines and remove fluoride from local water systems.
