Ahead of the Georgia election, a former senator launches a $600,000 ad campaign against Fani Willis.
The ad will run for 9 weeks and target voters in the Atlanta area.
A six-figure ad campaign has been launched by the super PAC of former Georgia Sen. Kelly Loeffler to expose the "failures" of Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis before the November election.
Greater Georgia launched a $100,000 ad campaign on Thursday that will consist of digital ads, direct mail, and text messages, all of which will run for nine weeks until the election on November 5.
An ad labeled "Failed" will be displayed on streaming platforms and programmatic media, including Planet Chronicle, CNN, WSB-TV, Hulu, Roku, and Fubo.
Fani Willis' watch has led to a rise in dangerous crimes in Fulton County, including murders, rapes, and burglaries.
The ad states that the district attorney is solely focused on their own political ambitions, high-profile prosecutions, and profiting off partisan lawfare, all while putting families in fear and innocent lives at risk. It calls for a district attorney who will prioritize public safety.
The campaign claims that Fulton County has seen an increase in homicides under Willis, and that she has misused taxpayer funds for her own gain, prioritizing her personal ambition over public safety in order to boost her political career and fame.
Willis did not immediately respond to Planet Chronicle Digital's request for comment.
In November, Willis, who gained national prominence after indicting former President Donald Trump with racketeering charges last year, will face a Republican contender for office.
Trump and co-defendants claimed that Willis should be disqualified from the case due to her "improper" affair with Nathan Wade, whom she hired as special counsel.
The Georgia Court of Appeals will hear the case to disqualify Willis in December.
Since Willis was elected, homicides in Fulton County increased by 8% from 2021 to 2022, and since 2023, homicides in Atlanta have increased by 13%. In 2023, 13,787 people were arrested for felonies but never indicted. At the end of 2023, the DA still had a backlog of 11,700 unindicted cases, Greater Georgia said.
Many of the indicted felons have committed more crimes while awaiting trial, according to Greater Georgia.
In 2021, Willis was accused of misappropriating $488,000 in grant funds from the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) and was later subpoenaed over the allegations by the U.S. House Judiciary Committee.
An investigation into Willis was launched by members of the U.S. Senate over allegations that she misused $2,000,000 in DOJ funds intended for clearing sexual assault cases.
Loeffler stated that when voters elected Fani Willis in 2020, her primary responsibility was to imprison criminals and safeguard the families of Fulton County. However, she has spent the past four years concentrating solely on pursuing frivolous cases in an effort to enhance her fame, enrich herself, and further her political aspirations.
Fani Willis, the state of Georgia's top prosecutor, is a disgrace to the state, endangering public safety and failing to deliver justice to victims. She must be removed from office in November to restore order and protect the citizens of Georgia.
