A poll reveals that most Americans believe Biden will be remembered as a below-average or poor president.

A recent poll indicates that many Americans view President Biden as a below-par leader, predicting his legacy to be lackluster when he steps down from office.

According to a new Gallup poll, 54% of Americans believe that Biden will be remembered as either "below average" (37%) or "poor" (17%), while only 19% are confident he will have a positive legacy, with 6% saying he was "outstanding" and 13% saying he was "above average."

According to the poll, approximately 26% of Americans believe that Biden will be remembered as an average president.

Biden was ranked among ten recent presidents by Gallup's poll, and he was the least popular among them. Nixon had a net positivity rating of -42, while Biden's was -35. The next closest president was George W. Bush with a rating of -9.

Presidents who serve challenging terms, such as Biden, typically see their approval ratings increase post-presidency, as observed by Gallup. This trend was also experienced by Presidents Carter, Trump, and Bush.

The net positivity rating of President-elect Trump's first term was -4. John F. Kennedy was the most popular president with a rating of +68, while Ronald Reagan received a rating of +38.

From December 2 to 18, Gallup surveyed 1,003 U.S. adults using both cellphones and landlines, with a margin of error of 4%.

On the same day that Biden acknowledged concerns about his age and discussed his legacy in an interview with USA Today in the Oval Office, he still claimed he would have won another term if he'd run against Trump, but he admitted he's not sure if he could have lasted four more years.

Would you have had the energy to serve another four years in office, do you think? Susan Page of USA Today asked.

"I didn't know if I was the right person to run for president," Biden admitted. "When I first announced, I talked to Barack [Obama] about it and thought I was the best candidate. I didn't intend to run after my son Beau died, but when Trump ran for re-election, I believed I had the best chance of defeating him."

Biden stated that he wasn't seeking the presidency at the age of 85 or 86, and he discussed passing the baton, reflecting on his age concerns before dropping out of the race.

Biden hopes that history will remember him as someone who came in with a plan to revive the economy and reassert America's global leadership.

He stated that he hoped his legacy would be one that demonstrated how he turned an economy in chaos into a global leader in terms of new economic principles.

The White House refused to provide a comment on the poll when contacted by Planet Chronicle Digital.
