In parts of the United States, drones are being spotted in the night skies, prompting Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., to urge the Department of Homeland Security to install 360-degree radar systems for detecting drones.
Schumer stated that our local people should not have to rely on a magic eight ball to obtain answers about these drones.
Robin Radar Systems is tasked with developing a 360-degree radar system for deployment in the New York and New Jersey region, as per Schumer's request.
Our 360° radar systems log thousands of observations, scanning every second to track and classify with precision, whether it's a bird, bat, or drone.
Schumer stated that they need real answers, which the Robin can provide, hence their presence is desired.
