Spring has sprung at the 2024 Philadelphia Flower Show.
The Pennsylvania Horticultural Society is hosting a show at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in downtown Philadelphia from March 10, 2024, through March 10, 2024.
The theme for this year is "United by Flowers," which honors the connections formed through a mutual passion for gardening and the positive influence it has on the American landscape.
The Philadelphia Flower Show offers a variety of exhibits, events, vendors, educational displays, and activities for children, as well as endless floral inspiration for enthusiasts.
The Pennsylvania Horticultural Society states that the Philadelphia Flower Show, which is held annually in Philadelphia, is the largest and longest-running horticultural event in the nation. The show features displays by some of the world's top floral and landscape designers.
Since 1829, the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society has hosted an event where visitors can view garden displays, floral arrangements, and gardening demonstrations led by horticulture experts.

According to the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, the 2023 survey data revealed that 80% of Philadelphia Flower Show attendees originated from Connecticut and Virginia.
Year after year, horticultural enthusiasts look forward to the flower show as a tradition.
On Saturday morning, Barb Lawlor, a schoolteacher from Washington Township, New Jersey, and her son, Alex Lawlor, a management consultant, were the second pair to enter the show.

"The Flower Show is a breathtaking event that we eagerly anticipate attending together every year."
Attendees can enhance their green thumbs through a gardening speaker series covering multiple topics four times a day, in addition to the exhibits.
The alternative version of the sentence is: "The topics covered in this section are garden design, vegetable gardening, native plants, container gardening, shade gardening, rock gardening, and houseplants."
Following the displays, visitors can explore the marketplace featuring botanical-inspired artwork and jewelry, gardening supplies, clothing, home décor items, and housewares.
There are also food vendors and beverage stations.
The convention center is situated near the renowned Reading Terminal Market, featuring local food vendors.
The flower show will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. from now until March 9.
The show concludes on March 10, with hours of operation from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
This year marks the 195th anniversary of the show, with over 40 major exhibitors, as stated on its website.
