In Thailand, a popular zoo animal accurately forecasted the victor of the 2024 U.S. presidential race.

A video on TikTok by the Khao Kheow Open Zoo in Thailand showcases the viral baby hippo, Moo Deng, predicting a win for former president Donald Trump.

A viral video depicts Moo Deng making a decision between two watermelon cakes, each bearing the name of a presidential candidate, Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris.

"If Moo Deng believes Trump has it, then why should we dispute it? Cake and confidence, that's a winning combination!" one person remarked on X.

"Smart Hippo…so much winning…," another person commented.

Another person remarked on the video, stating that it's not difficult to understand who's better for America, as even the Hippo knows the answer.

X shared images of Moo Deng, who was born on July 10, 2024, reacting strongly to a bath, resulting in her becoming a viral sensation.

The Khao Kheow Open Zoo in Chonburi has seen a surge in visitors due to the baby hippo.

Moo Deng's expressive face has been used as reaction memes on X and TikTok, with users expressing their admiration for her online.

An endangered species, Moo Deng, whose name means "Bouncy Pig" or "Bouncy Pork," is a pygmy hippopotamus.

According to the Pygmy Hippo Foundation's website, pygmy hippos are found in West Africa, mainly in Liberia. There are approximately 2,000 pygmy hippos remaining in the wild.

The Pygmy Hippo Foundation states that the pygmy hippopotamus is approximately 2.5 feet tall and weighs about a quarter as much as a standard hippopotamus.
