Bestselling author Jonathan Cahn claims that the Bible provides clear guidance on the outcome of today's battles.
The author of 'The Dragon's Prophecy' discusses Israel, antisemitism, and his personal beliefs.
Jonathan Cahn, an author and evangelist, did not intentionally write his latest book, "The Dragon's Prophecy: Israel, the Dark Resurrection, and the End of Days." Rather, he was compelled to do so due to current events, as he explained in an interview with Planet Chronicle Digital.
Cahn, the leader of Beth Israel/The Jerusalem Center in Wayne, New Jersey, a messianic congregation, stated in a video interview from New Jersey that he was interrupted by the events unfolding in the Middle East. (See the video at the top of this article.)
Cahn has never written a book that so much focuses on the biblical prophecy that is currently coming true, encompassing the entire realm of events happening, as he stated.
Writing "The Dragon's Prophecy" was different for Cahn than writing his other books, as he started working on it in January and it was released in September.
As he was writing it, 'things are coming true,' he said, so he had to keep updating the book.
Cahn did not anticipate that his first book, "The Harbinger," would become a New York Times bestseller, but it did, and his other books followed suit.
He stated that regarding the new book, "There has been an unprecedented demand. We have never witnessed such a response," he said. "This is unique."
Cahn, who was previously an atheist, became a believer after being influenced by biblical prophecy, he stated.
Although he was brought up in a Jewish household, he now identifies as a follower of Jesus.
"He exclaimed that he had no inkling that the events described in the Bible were actually occurring, beginning with the resurrection of Israel," he stated.
"The enemy is depicted in the Book of Revelation in a vision as a dragon."
"He remarked, "As the Bible foretold, it has come to pass - the Jewish people will be gathered from all corners of the earth and restored as a nation.""
According to Cahn, "The Dragon's Prophecy" refers to the Book of Revelation's depiction of the enemy as a dragon in a vision.
In Revelation 12, a woman is "warring against a dragon," said Cahn.
Interpreting the woman as a symbol of Israel, some individuals, including Cahn, share this viewpoint.
"That is happening right now," he said.
Cahn writes about this prophecy in his book.
"The largest section of 'The Dragon's Prophecy' is titled 'The End of Days,'" he stated.
Cahn stated that the Bible refers to the "end of days" from the time of Moses to the New Testament.
The Bible indicates that the exact day and hour of Christ's return are unknown, but it also specifies certain signs that will precede his arrival, which Cahn claims are currently occurring.
The Jewish people will return to the land of Israel, which will be resurrected after being dead for a long time, according to the speaker.
In 1967, the Jewish people returned to Jerusalem, as foretold in the text.
"It says that all nations will be focused on the Middle East."
The Jewish people must be in Jerusalem for the Second Coming of Christ to occur, he stated.
"The Middle East and Israel, a New Jersey-sized land, will be the focal point of all nations, leading to their rage against the Jewish people and Israel."
He remarked, "The surge of antisemitism over the past year is happening," as he added the statement.
Cahn stated, "Since you have a checklist, we can go through and mark off all these items."
"The precise time of Christ's return is unknown, but we are aware of the season and are currently in it."
Cahn stated that the Bible indicates the ultimate victor in this conflict.
The nation of Israel, the Jewish people, has been the target of the world's efforts to destroy it for 4,000 years, with the enemy, often referred to as the dragon, being the one attempting to achieve this goal.
Cahn stated that despite attempts to destroy the Jewish people, from ancient to modern times, "all who have tried are gone."
If you follow the God of Israel, you will follow the Messiah of Israel, Jesus, and live, you will prevail.
"Just fight. Don't give up," he said.
"Fight the good fight."
