As extreme heat causes clock hands to melt, time flies: 'Will be repairing it'
The reason behind the Salvador Dali-inspired clock hand arrangement remains unknown.
The heat of summer is melting more than just children's ice cream cones.

The central clock tower in Keynsham, Somerset, left residents stunned after one of its faces appeared to have melted.
The townsfolk compared the odd face to Salvador Dali's famous painting "The Persistence of Memory," according to SWNS.
The clock tower in Keynsham was commissioned in April 2015 as part of the civic center redevelopment by Bath And North East Somerset (BANES).
The clock tower's face has been given a fresh appearance, despite being only nine years old.
The clock has three faces and is constructed from three sides.
One clock hand appears to be firmly attached, while another seems loose from its casing, according to SWNS.
Time will tell
Various theories are being proposed by residents as they attempt to determine the cause of this occurrence.
The black band at the top of the clock tower broke off and fell into the middle of two hands, causing it to break even further, according to one theory, SWNS reported.
Another theory is circulating about the source of the problem, although it has not been definitively identified yet.
Some believe the recent heatwave in a southwest English town led to melted hands.
A representative from BANES Council acknowledged the issue and stated that they will address it.
The clock tower is constructed of "digitally printed, toughened and curved glass, a granite plinth, and an outer polyurethane resin casing," according to the news site.
The community selected important photos for the tower's images by choosing them.
The designer Sebastien Boysen shared on his website that several of the images he selected are re-creations of old advertisement posters from the Fry's factory, which was a major employer in the area.
