Nico's special day was celebrated by officers who shared photos of the occasion on Facebook, wishing him a wonderful year ahead.

A spokesperson for the Dallas Police Department informed Planet Chronicle Digital via email that Senior Corporal Jose De La Rocha was a member of the department for 14 years.
The Brotherhood for the Fallen in Dallas, Texas, reported that Jose De La Rocha passed away after a medical emergency at home with his family. The organization accepts donations to support the families of police officers who have died.
Jose, a native of Dallas (Oak Cliff), Texas, attended the University of North Texas after high school. He was a man with a huge heart and a captivating smile. He desired to give back to his hometown and serve its citizens.
Nico was escorted to class by officers and first responders who were captured in a photo with him outside the school.

Nico was spotted with a broad grin on his face as he wore neon green sneakers and a black T-shirt that read, "Kindergarten 2024."
Adriana De La Rocha, Nico's mother, was present for the significant back-to-school experience.
The spokesperson stated that Chief Eddie Garcia and officers from the Dallas Police Department, including the Mounted Unit and first responders from Sunnyvale, escorted the child to his first day of kindergarten.
