A car wash kitten, saved from certain death, is now seeking a new home.

An employee at an active car wash heard a "meow" and rescued a cat.

A tabby kitten was saved from the Ultimate Shine Car Wash in Washington Court House, Ohio, after it became trapped near the turbo blaster.

According to the Fayette Regional Humane Society, the kitten, thought to be under six weeks old, might have been beneath a vehicle when it entered the car wash.

The kitten was likely flushed out from its hiding spot and into the path of the high-pressure water jets when the car entered the wash, according to the media statement.

During a routine inspection of the wash tunnel, Kierra Mills, the car wash team lead, heard a kitten meowing and knew something was amiss.

To my astonishment, I discovered the kitten was "drenched and trembling."

She quickly dried off the man she brought into the main office.

The Fayette Regional Humane Society will examine Turbo Rinse, the animal that has been named and dried off.

Brad Adams, the chief humane agent of FRHS, expressed gratitude in a media statement for how the situation was handled.

If not for the attentiveness of the car wash staff, this could have ended very differently, he said.

Turbo, after a thorough examination, was discovered to be unharmed and will be ready for adoption following his vaccinations, microchip implantation, and neutering procedure.

Car owners should remember to check under their vehicles for animals, as Adams stated.

He stated, "Remember to always check under your vehicle, especially if you have cats or kittens on your property."

In Washington Court House, Ohio, the Fayette Regional Humane Society is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the well-being of animals.

Columbus, Ohio, is approximately 40 miles northwest of Washington Court House, Ohio.
