On vacation, an Atlanta woman accidentally swallowed her diamond wedding ring while taking her daily vitamins.

On vacation in Phuket, Thailand, Dannah McMichael, 39, and her husband, Randy McMichael, experienced an unimaginable incident.

She revealed to SWNS that after going out for dinner and drinks, she felt the urge to take a shower when she returned home.

The travel blogger, who was "beyond jet-lagged" after a long day of traveling, accidentally swallowed her wedding ring with a handful of vitamins while preparing to shower.

She said, "I threw everything in my mouth and washed it down with water without looking."

McMichael informed Planet Chronicle Digital that she started choking immediately, thinking it was due to magnesium pills getting stuck in her throat.

As she choked on the pills and realized her ring was gone, she knew something was amiss.

The couple joked about McMichael swallowing the missing ring after searching the hotel room.

The pair visited a local clinic for an X-ray scan after two days of searching.

McMichael exclaimed, "We couldn't believe it," after seeing her wedding ring on the X-ray machine.

Her husband was relieved, as he thought the massage therapist might have accidentally removed the ring from his wife's finger during the massage.

McMichael was informed by doctors at the clinic that she would pass the ring naturally, which she later confirmed to Planet Chronicle Digital.

"She swallowed it on Sunday and passed it between Wednesday and Thursday, with no pain at all, she stated."

She was relieved when it came out because she feared flushing it down the toilet.

McMichael, who frequently posts her travel adventures on social media, joked about the situation by sharing a video of her X-ray and ring soaking in disinfectant after the event.

I never lost my ring, it was always with me. That's why I captioned the post, 'Got my ring back.'
