Report: Trump sets deadline for Netanyahu to end Israel-Hamas conflict by January if elected.
Trump has consistently stated his aim to resolve the Israel-Hamas conflict.
According to the Times of Israel, former President Trump allegedly requested that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu end the Israel-Hamas conflict before his inauguration, if he were to be elected.
An anonymous source with knowledge of the situation informed an Israeli outlet that either Trump or Vice President Kamala Harris will be inaugurated on Jan. 20, based on the outcome of the Nov. 5 election.
According to The Times of Israel's source, Trump conveyed the message to Netanyahu during their meeting at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, in July.
The fact that Trump's request to end the war, which has been ongoing since Oct. 7, 2023, had a timeline was previously unknown.
Trump has shown support for Israel's targeting of Iranian nuclear sites, despite not discussing the Israel-Hamas war in detail during his campaign.
At a rally in Fayetteville, North Carolina, Trump stated, "That's the thing you wanna hit."
The Biden-Harris administration has generally been supportive of Israel, but the White House has criticized the IDF's recent military actions, including President Biden's call for a ceasefire before Israel invaded Lebanon earlier this month.
In a CNN town hall, Harris evaded Anderson Cooper's query regarding her stance on Israel compared to her Republican rival.
"Harris stated that she believes Donald Trump is dangerous, without answering the question. She added that she believes it is dangerous when a president of the United States, as the Commander in Chief, talks to his generals about being more like Hitler's generals, assuming many of these conversations took place in the Oval Office."
Planet Chronicle Digital reached out to the Trump campaign for comment.
