On Saturday, Israel announced that its military had killed two Hezbollah leaders who were responsible for over 400 attacks against them in October.
On Friday in the Tyre region of Lebanon, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that it had eliminated Mousa Izz al-Din, the commander of Hezbollah's forces in the coastal sector, and Hassan Majid Daib, Hezbollah's artillery commander in the coastal sector.
On Thursday, the projectile that was fired toward Haifa Bay was the responsibility of Daib, as stated by IDF.
Over the past month, Hezbollah terrorists were responsible for launching over 400 projectiles at Israel, according to the IDF.
Over the past day, the Israel Air Force (IAF) carried out more than 120 attacks in Lebanon, targeting anti-tank missile launching sites, terrorist operatives, terror infrastructure sites, weapons storage facilities, and command centers, according to Israel's claims.
Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon are being targeted by IDF soldiers through limited, localized, and targeted raids. The troops are working with the IAF to locate weapons and eliminate terrorists while damaging Hezbollah's infrastructure.
In Jabaliya, Gaza, IDF soldiers continue operational activity, resulting in the elimination of dozens of terrorists through aerial and ground operations. Meanwhile, in Rafah and central Gaza, the troops are focused on dismantling terror infrastructure and locating weapons.
On Thursday, Hezbollah forces launched a deadly attack in northern Israel, prompting Israel to respond with an attack on Friday.
An Israeli farmer and four foreign agricultural workers were killed in the first attack in Metula, a town on the Israel-Lebanon border. In the second reported attack from Hezbollah, two people died near Haifa.
Near Nabatieh, south of Beirut, the Wednesday strike that eliminated Mustafa Ahmad Shahadi of Hezbollah's Radwan Forces was carried out, according to the Israel Defense Forces.
"The IDF stated that Mustafa Ahmad Shahadi carried out multiple terror attacks against Israel, which was part of an effort to weaken Hezbollah's Radwan Forces' ability to direct and execute terror activities against IDF troops and communities in the northern border, specifically targeting the "Conquer the Galilee" plan."
