The IDF announced that a top Hamas commander responsible for the Oct. 7 attack on Kibbutz Nir Oz was killed by a targeted drone strike.
On Tuesday, Abd al-Hadi Sabah, the leader of the infiltration into Kibbutz Nir Oz, which caused devastation to the community near the Gaza border on October 7th, was killed in the Western Khan Yunis Battalion.
The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) and the Israeli Security Agency (ISA) collaborated on an intelligence-based strike, as announced by the IDF on social media on Tuesday.
In southern Gaza, Sabah was reportedly concealed in a refugee camp.
During Oct. 7, Sabah was identified as one of the leaders of the infiltration into Kibbutz Nir Oz and had been involved in multiple terrorist attacks against IDF troops.
The IDF and ISA will persist in targeting all terrorists involved in the October 7th Massacre, as stated by the agencies.
The IDF employed "precise munitions, intelligence, and aerial surveillance" to minimize harm to civilians, according to their statement.
Nearly half of the 400 residents of Kibbutz Nir Oz in southern Israel were murdered or taken captive during the Oct. 7 attack, which was led by Sabah.
