An airport worker was assaulted by an irate airline passenger in a heated dispute over a check-in delay.
According to a report by Viral News, a video taken on Nov. 10 shows an enraged passenger hitting a worker from behind at the check-in counter of Terminal 1 of Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) in Malaysia.
The irate passenger, wearing a green colored top and army green pants, is seen cowering down to fend off an attack, but then turns and squares up to the staff member.
The worker is brutally assaulted by the passenger with a powerful left hook, causing them to fall backwards and stun the onlookers.
According to the report, a war of words breaks out between the two individuals after security guards intervene to separate them.
The disagreement led to the fight, according to Azman Shari'at, Assistant Commissioner of the KLIA District Police.
"The police chief stated that the delay in entering to register for the flight caused a fight between two individuals, resulting in the worker being slightly injured."
No arrests have been made as of Nov. 16, The Star reports.
