Omar Ali Saifuddien III owns the world's largest private car collection.

His impressive collection is stashed with luxurious vehicles with high price tags.

The Sultan of Brunei is the second-longest reigning monarch, surpassed only by the late Queen Elizabeth II. He was born on July 15, 1946, and was second in line for the throne. After graduating from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, he ascended to the throne in 1967.

The monarch's car collection, valued at $5 billion, contains over 7,000 vehicles.

He has an official Guinness World Record for his Rolls-Royce cars, with 500 of the luxury cars being part of his collection. Some sources claim there are now 600 cars in his collection. During the 1990s, the family is believed to have purchased almost half of all the luxury vehicles sold.

According to GQ, a custom-designed Rolls-Royce with an open roof, an umbrella on top, and plenty of gold covering its exterior was presented.

The sultan's collection includes Porsches, Lamborghinis, Maybachs, Jaguars, BMWs, Ferraris, McLarens, Jaguars, and Bentleys.

According to the India Times, his net worth is estimated to be $30 billion, primarily from oil reserves and natural gas.

The sultan's car collection is not the only indication of his wealth, and it is not the only thing he owns that makes him a record holder.

The sultan's residence, Istana Nurul Iman Palace, is the world's largest residential palace, as per Guinness World Records.

The palace boasts a size of over 2 million square feet and is adorned with 22-carat gold. It has five swimming pools, 1,700 bedrooms, and 257 baths.

The palace, with its grandeur, boasts a hall capable of accommodating 5,000 guests, an air-conditioned stable for 200 polo ponies, a mosque, and 110 garages.

Insider reports that the multibillionaire owns a private zoo with 30 Bengal tigers and a variety of birds, including flamingos and cockatoos.

The sultan has a variety of cars to choose from and also owns a Boeing 747.
