A seven-year-old boy miraculously survives five days on his own in an African game park alongside dangerous animals like lions and elephants.
The boy's survival was deemed a "miracle" by officials.
In Zimbabwe, politicians are calling the survival of a 7-year-old boy alone in an African game park for five days, surrounded by elephants and lions, a "true miracle."
In Matusadonha game park, Tinotenda Pudu remained alone for nearly a week after wandering away and losing his sense of direction, as stated by Mutsa Murombedzi in a post on X.
Officials reported that rangers from Matusadona Africa Parks discovered Pudu, who had walked nearly 15 miles from home.
"After five grueling days in the jungle near Hogwe River, which flows into Ume River, the boy has been found alive," Murombedzi announced. "Sleeping on a rocky perch, amidst roaring lions, passing elephants, eating wild fruits, and just the unforgiving wild is too much for a 7-year-old."
According to African Parks' website, the park is home to lions, leopards, buffalo, zebras, elephants, hippos, and antelope.
According to Murombedzi, the Nyaminyami community played drums at night in the hope that the boy would hear the sound and return home.
""God's protection and guidance led Tinotenda safely back home, demonstrating the strength of unity, hope, prayer, and perseverance," she stated."
Officials confirmed the child's age to the BBC.
