Starlink Satellites Launched to Low-Earth Orbit by SpaceX Falcon 9
On Tuesday, the Earth Cloud Aerosol and Radiation Explorer (EarthCARE) satellite was launched into low-Earth orbit by SpaceX Falcon 9 from the Vandenberg Space Force Base in California.
The European Space Agency and Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency collaborated to develop EarthCARE's mission, which focuses on investigating the impact of clouds and aerosols on Earth's atmosphere's heating and cooling processes, as stated by the ESA.
According to SpaceX, this mission's Falcon 9 first stage booster was on its seventh flight.
On Tuesday, another SpaceX Falcon 9 launched 23 Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit from Florida's Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
