Biden's condition at Hollywood fundraiser exposes the 'cheap fake' narrative at the White House.
George Clooney stated that he recognized the man seen at the debate.
A top Hollywood actor and former Obama aide spoke out on Wednesday, dealing a significant blow to the narrative aggressively pushed by the Biden campaign and White House about President Biden's mental fitness.
On Wednesday, actor George Clooney urged Biden to abandon his 2024 presidential bid after observing criticism of the president at a Hollywood fundraiser in late June, where he appeared to require assistance in leaving the stage from former President Obama.
Obama's friend Clooney wrote that it was sad to say, but the Joe Biden he was with at a fundraiser three weeks ago was not the same man he was in 2010 or 2020. He was the same man everyone saw at the debate.
The Hollywood fundraiser was attended by former Obama speechwriter Jon Favreau, who supported that conclusion.
Favreau, a member of the "Obama bros," stated that it was not surprising to anyone at the fundraiser.
"Everyone I spoke to at the fundraiser agreed with Clooney's assessment, except for those working for Joe Biden, or at least they didn't express that sentiment."
The day after joining his colleagues in criticizing Biden on "Pod Save America," Favreau made sharp remarks about the former vice president.
After the June 18 fundraiser where videos of Biden being escorted off the stage by Obama circulated, the Democratic Party and the media collaborated to refute any doubts about Biden's age.
"Biden paused amid cheers and applause as he exited the stage with his predecessor following an interview moderated by late-night host Kimmel during a fundraiser in Los Angeles on Saturday night."
The President was applauded by the crowd for a few seconds, as described by White House spokesperson Andrew Bates.
James Singer, a spokesperson for the Biden campaign, stated that the negative characterizations are a diversionary tactic used by those who are afraid of losing to Joe Biden. They are attempting to distract from the fact that their candidate, Donald Trump, has been convicted of 34 felonies, found liable for sexual assault, committed financial fraud, and only cares about himself.
During a press briefing on Monday, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre denounced videos that portray Biden as frail or confused as "cheap fakes" created in "bad faith." She emphasized that these clips reveal the desperation of the Republican party.
The AP reported that a source who assisted with and participated in the fundraiser stated that there was nothing remarkable about the moment and that Obama was simply trying to be friendly by exiting the stage with Biden.
Jimmy Kimmel's spokesperson, Lewis Kay, dismissed the online rumors as "nonsense" at the event.
""President Biden was trying to hear attendees in the front who were shouting at him, as he wrote in an email to the AP," he stated simply."
The White House and Biden campaign did not respond to Planet Chronicle Digital's request for comment.
